Take this opportunity as we now are looking for a Senior Consultant Project Manager to join our team in Milan.

Business Sweden works with leading multinational companies and start-ups across all industries, and our clients’ business is often driven by digitalization, innovation, and sustainability. Our consultancy services include e.g. market entry & growth strategies including M&A, sales acceleration as well as Public Affairs support. We help Swedish companies enter new markets and verticals, understand market dynamics, identify local partners, appreciate the regulatory landscape, and build out their services or product offering.

Our focus is to grow the advisory part of our business and to become even more relevant in the most important business ecosystems to help propel the international growth of Swedish companies. To help drive this journey, we are currently looking for a Senior Consultant / Project Manager to join our team.

From our Milan office, which currently consists of a team of ten, you will join Region Europe, operating from 14 local offices. From Milan, we cover Greece, Cyprus and Malta, though many projects span across the region.

As Senior Consultant / Project Manager at Business Sweden your job will encompass a diverse range of tasks within project delivery and sales.

The role includes both strategic, tactic and operational responsibilities such as:

  • Represent Business Sweden as a trusted advisor, finding solutions to our clients’ most pressing challenges.
  • Lead teams and work close to our clients in Sweden, Italy and further afield.
  • Responsible for building strong client relationships, scope assignments, and drive project delivery ensuring well-grounded insights are easily communicated to clients.
  • Easily navigate both business promotion and strategic consulting assignments for clients ranging from small to large.
  • Proactively work with sales including initiation, driving dialogues, together with the Country Manager and other senior colleagues in Europe and, with support of the team developing, a solid pipeline for the office.

The role is based in Milan, but you will be expected to work with our teams and clients around the world, as required.

Formal requirements

  • You have a higher academic degree, at least a Bachelors degree and probably a Master of Science in Engineering and/or Business Administration.
  • For the Senior Consultant position: Minimum of 3,5 years of relevant experience from a strategy or management consultancy firm or equivalent.
  • For the Project Manager position: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience from a strategy or management consultancy firm or equivalent.
  • You have experience from multi-stakeholder projects, preferably in an international context.
  • You are experienced in delivering consultancy and advisory projects, and confident in driving and supporting sales dialogues.
  • It is highly meriting if you have experience from contributing to sales dialogues within consulting.
  • You have a high level of proficiency in English, strongly meriting with Italian and Swedish. Proficiency in other languages is a plus.
  • It is meriting if you have experience from working with international companies before, and if you have lived in other parts of the world.
