Summary:

In this role, you will support Vizient pharmacy clients across GPO and Pharmacy Enterprise engagements by delivering insightful data analysis, strategic recommendations, and operational improvements. You will collaborate with internal teams and client pharmacy leaders to develop innovative solutions, guide project execution, interpret complex financial and operational data, and present actionable insights to senior leadership. You will apply project management methodologies to achieve client objectives while contributing to the development of tools, services, and intellectual capital that advance pharmacy performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop innovative, data-driven solutions and program offerings that enhance pharmacy financial and operational performance across diverse client environments.
  • Execute project plans across multiple client engagements, manage competing priorities, and ensure timely delivery of key milestones.
  • Facilitate client meetings, strategic discussions, project updates, and presentations.
  • Perform advanced data analysis, modeling, and benchmarking to translate complex datasets into actionable recommendations.
  • Partner with Spend Management, Analytics, and Pharmacy Leadership teams to identify opportunities that improve operational efficiency, clinical outcomes, and cost management.
  • Analyze and optimize classes of trade, including 340B and WAC, by evaluating purchasing strategies, contract performance, and regulatory considerations to identify savings and efficiency opportunities.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and internal partners to identify contracting opportunities, support negotiations, and advance value-based agreements aligned with client clinical and financial goals.
  • Develop dashboards, executive presentations, and reporting tools that communicate financial, operational, and strategic insights to pharmacy and executive leadership.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings, revenue enhancement, and operational improvement that support program growth and client performance.
  • Build collaborative relationships with clients and internal partners to promote knowledge sharing and successful implementation of strategic initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred.
  • 5 or more years of relevant experience required.
  • Experience in pharmacy operations, pharmacy business management, GPO, or healthcare consulting preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise in data analytics, financial modeling, and analysis of large datasets.
  • Experience interpreting and presenting complex operational and financial information to pharmacy and executive leadership.
  • Strong project management, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written, verbal, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams and clients.
  • Ability to travel regularly and expeditiously throughout the year to meet clients’ needs and timetables.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $88,900.00 to $155,500.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
