Our Strategy Office is seeking strategy professionals to support ongoing analysis of our market and specific areas of focus in the context of this disruption. These insights provide the basis for strategic decision-making that drives the Future of Deloitte Ireland for an AI –first world, meaning this is a pivotal, high-impact role within the team and the firm. Key skills and prior experience that align well with this position
This position is ideal for an experienced Senior Consultant with a proven history of success in shaping and conducting strategic analysis, ideally within a fast-paced professional services or consulting environment
Strategy Development - Experience supporting the design and facilitation of strategic processes and initiatives
Structured Problem Solving The ability to deconstruct complex issues into manageable components, and design creative yet pragmatic approaches and solutions to generate insight and recommendations.
AI Literacy Client facing experience developing and deploying bespoke AI solutions – ideally in market analysis / research
Analytical Rigor Strong analytical skills to understand and interpret large datasets, generate insights, and formulate clear strategic recommendations in high quality deliverables
Information Gathering & Literacy Strong research skills, including the ability to plan, search, locate, evaluate, structure, use and communicate information leveraging AI tooling
Strong Communication Strong written and verbal communication skills including the proven ability to support facilitation of workshops and deliver compelling presentations to senior audiences
Specific Tooling Strong ability in AI tooling/ analytical tools/ dashboarding/ Microsoft Excel; excellent Microsoft PowerPoint and Word or similar
What type of work will I be doing?
We conduct strategic projects and produce analysis and insight to support strategic decision making, working directly with the firm’s leadership to frame strategic context and choices, and translate executive vision into clear, actionable roadmaps that prepare our business for an AI-first world.
As a member of the team your key accountabilities will be the following:
Data-Driven Decision Support Utilise advanced data manipulation, visualisation, and statistical modelling to provide insights that solve complex business problems.
Tool Development: Build bespoke AI tooling, data solutions, dashboards, and automated reports to enhance the efficiency of strategic reporting
Client/Internal Stakeholder Consulting Work closely with internal leadership to capture analytical inputs and requirements, and ensure solutions meet business needs.
Market and Competitive Analysis Research and evaluate market trends, competitor behaviour, and industry benchmarking to inform internal strategy.
Performance Evaluation Analyse internal KPIs, operational metrics, and financial reports to identify growth opportunities, productivity improvements, and cost reduction strategies.
Scenario Planning Identify and run different business and model scenarios to forecast trends and guide strategic choices.
