Join our dynamic Deal & Valuation Advisory department, where we provide strategic, expert-driven advisory services tailored to our clients' needs. Our focus areas include Transaction Services, Company Valuations, Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) mandates, Debt Advisory, Funding, and Financial Modelling. To support our continued growth, we are seeking a Senior Consultant M&A and Valuation to join our Battice office (near Liège).

What will you be doing?

  • Market Research:
    • Conduct market research to identify trends, potential acquisition targets, and partnership opportunities.
    • Analyse competitor data and market conditions affecting deals.
  • Financial Analysis and Valuation:
    • Develop financial models to evaluate the performance and prospects of acquisition targets.
    • Perform valuation analysis using DCF, Comparable Company Analysis, and Precedent Transactions methods.
  • Document Preparation:
    • Assist in preparing key commercial documents like pitch books, Information Memorandums, and stakeholder presentations.
    • Draft and review transaction documents including Letters of Intent (LOI), term sheets, and purchase agreements.
  • Project Management:
    • Prepare datarooms for due diligence.
    • Coordinate meetings, manage timelines, and ensure alignment among stakeholders.
    • Maintain project documentation and update internal databases with transaction details.
  • Communication and Collaboration:
    • Liaise with clients, consultants, and external parties for information gathering and communication.
    • Collaborate with team members across departments to ensure a cohesive strategy.
  • M&A Activity Monitoring:
    • Prepare regular reports on ongoing M&A activities and completed deal outcomes.
    • Analyse post-acquisition data to assess success and derive insights for future transactions.

What do you bring to the table?

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Business Economics, or a related field; finance certifications (CFI, CFA, etc.) are a plus.
  • Up to 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in consulting or professional services.
  • Excellent command of French and English. Other languages (especially Dutch and/or German) are a plus.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of accounting, valuation methodologies, and M&A processes.
  • Advanced Excel skills with expertise in corporate finance applications.
  • Proficient in PowerPoint for creating impactful reports
  • Team-oriented with a proactive, can-do attitude and a commitment to continuous learning.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and perform effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
