The Senior Consultant, Influencer role is an existing opportunity to join our growing team and work across leading technology and beauty brands.

Influencer marketing is an important and growing part of our business, and we’re looking for someone who is genuinely passionate about the space. You’re social-first, culturally curious, always tuned into emerging creators and trends, and understand how to turn those insights into influencer programs that deliver meaningful results for clients.

Here’s what you’d be doing:

  • Lead the identification, vetting and outreach of on-brand, campaign-relevant influencers for paid collaborations and long-term partnerships, aligned with strategic plans developed with senior team members and clients
  • Manage the negotiation, execution, project management and measurement of influencer programs, with a focus on paid collaborations and long-term partnerships
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with influencers, creators, talent agencies and other key contacts within the influencer space
  • Lead day-to-day client relationships, becoming a trusted and reliable partner
  • Take a thoughtful and strategic approach to multi-platform influencer programs, leveraging trends, cultural insights and data to support broader PR and communications objectives
  • Collaborate with internal teams on monitoring, compliance and execution across influencer activities
  • Develop and/or contribute to campaign reporting, tracking organic and paid influencer content and translating performance data into actionable insights and recommendations
  • Stay on top of emerging social trends, platforms, technologies, creators and changes within the Canadian influencer landscape
  • Conduct social listening and research to identify emerging conversations, cultural trends and relevant influencers
  • Partner with senior leads to share knowledge, trends and influencer marketing best practices across teams

What you’ll need to get here:

  • A minimum of 5–7 years of experience in end-to-end influencer relations and project management, ideally within a PR, social or digital agency environment
  • Strong knowledge of the Canadian influencer landscape and existing relationships with influencers, creators and talent agencies
  • Proven ability to develop meaningful influencer relationships and partnerships that result in authentic storytelling and measurable impact
  • Experience working with technology, beauty and/or consumer brands is an asset
  • Strong understanding of metrics and insights across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Pinterest and emerging channels, with the ability to use data to optimize campaigns and inform future recommendations
  • Strong understanding of the influencer marketing landscape, its strategic role and industry best practices
  • Experience negotiating influencer and partnership agreements
  • Experience using influencer identification and vetting platforms such as CreatorIQ, Traackr or similar tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and manage a high volume of requests and multiple projects simultaneously
  • Creative thinker and proactive problem solver
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) is a plus

In Ontario, the base salary for this position at the time of this posting is indicated below. This range reflects our broader group’s compensation framework across diverse agencies and disciplines. For this specific role at Burson, our offer will be determined within this range based on our internal benchmark, reflecting the specific market conditions for our discipline. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including business needs, experience, level of responsibility and qualifications.​

In addition to the salary range provided, we offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support our employees’ well-being and professional growth. While specific details may vary by agency, typical benefits include: private medical care, professional development opportunities, training programmes and flexible working arrangements (where applicable). Some agencies may offer additional benefits.​

$45,000—$95,000 CAD
