Job Description

Bristlecone India Limited is seeking a seasoned Senior Consultant for its Cloud Development – Delivery team. You will design, develop, and integrate core Java services within SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and SAP API Management, leveraging modern cloud technologies, IaC, and DevOps practices to enable seamless enterprise integration on‑premises and in the cloud.

• Architect and implement Java‑based microservices for SAP API Management and Integration Suite.
• Develop automation scripts using Python and Shell to streamline deployment pipelines.
• Design and maintain infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and Ansible across AWS, Azure, GCP, and OpenStack.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define API security, governance, and lifecycle management.
• Implement CI/CD workflows with Jenkins or Concourse, ensuring reliable and repeatable releases.
• Monitor application performance and availability using Dynatrace and other observability tools.
• Provide technical guidance on Cloud Foundry and DevOps best practices to junior engineers.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and agile ceremonies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in multi‑cloud environments.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering with strong Java development expertise.
• Deep understanding of cloud concepts, multi‑cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, OpenStack).
• Proficiency in Python and shell scripting for automation tasks.
• Hands‑on experience with Ansible and Terraform for configuration and infrastructure management.
• Familiarity with SAP BTP, Integration Suite, Business Accelerator Hub, and SAP API Management.
• Knowledge of Cloud Foundry, containerization, and basic DevOps principles.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace.
• Solid background in CI/CD tools like Jenkins or Concourse.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
