Senior Consultant Bill Pay - Dutch speaking (all genders)

Location: Amstelveen, Netherlands | Hybrid, 2–3 days per week onsite

Contract: The position is intended as a long-term opportunity. Employment starts with a 1-year contract, with the intention of transitioning to a permanent contract following successful completion of the initial period.

About the role:

As a Senior Consultant Bill Pay, you will play a key role in delivering larger and more complex customer implementations of our cloud-based Bill Presentment and Payments solution.

You will manage customer projects end-to-end, from solution definition and configuration through go-live and post-implementation support. In addition to customer delivery, you will contribute to internal initiatives and support the development of other consultants through knowledge sharing, mentoring and a buddy role.

Your Day to Day:

• Lead customer implementations from solution definition and configuration through go-live and post-implementation support.
• Advise customers on billing, collections and payment processes, customer journeys and opportunities for process optimisation.
• Translate customer requirements into practical solutions and configure the platform based on agreed processes and needs.
• Provide ongoing customer support, including training, configuration changes and identification of additional use cases.
• Manage stakeholders across different functions and seniority levels, including business, IT and C-level stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, IT and other internal teams to ensure successful customer delivery.
• Identify opportunities for product improvements and additional business within existing customer relationships.
• Contribute to internal projects and initiatives.
• Share knowledge and support other consultants through mentoring and a buddy role.

What makes you excel in this position:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in consulting, project management, customer implementation or a comparable client-facing role.
• Experience independently managing complex customer implementations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of project management and customer implementation methodologies.
• Strong customer-facing, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working with large organisations and engaging with stakeholders across different functions and seniority levels.
• Ability to understand customer requirements and translate them into practical solutions.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and a high level of ownership.
• Proactive and hands-on approach, with the ability to identify required actions and drive topics forward independently.
• Collaborative mindset and willingness to share knowledge and mentor colleagues.
• Commercial awareness and the ability to identify additional customer use cases and business opportunities.
• Professional proficiency in Dutch (native/C2) and English (C1/C2).

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of billing, collections, payments and/or financial processes.
• Experience with B2B2C software, SaaS, fintech or financial technology environments.
• Understanding of IT and cloud technologies.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
