Bristlecone India Limited is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Consultant to join our Analytics & BI - Delivery department. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in a project focused on migrating reports to Tableau, ensuring a seamless transition and enhancing our data analytics capabilities. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and innovate within our organization.

• Analyze and understand existing source reports, including functionality, data sources, and business usage.
• Redevelop reports in Tableau, ensuring improved functionality and visual appeal.
• Optimize and consolidate underlying data models for enhanced performance and maintainability.
• Identify and flag redundant or unused reports for consolidation or retirement.
• Validate migration approach, design standards, and data model decisions with stakeholders.
• Guide and review the work of junior developers, maintaining quality and best practices.
• Perform data validation and testing to ensure accurate report migration.
• Document migration processes, data lineage, and design decisions.
• Coordinate with business users for requirement clarification and report sign-off.

• 5+ years of overall BI development experience, with hands-on expertise in Spotfire and Tableau.
• Proven track record in Spotfire-to-Tableau migration projects is a must.
• Proficiency in Tableau dashboard development, calculated fields, and performance optimization.
• Solid understanding of data modeling principles and model optimizations.
• Working knowledge of SQL for data extraction and validation.
• Familiarity with GCP is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret and reverse-engineer Spotfire reports.
• Ability to mentor and provide constructive feedback to junior team members.
• Experience with SQL Server, GCP, or similar data platforms feeding into BI tools is advantageous.
• Relevant certifications in Tableau or similar BI tools are desirable.
