Job Description

Adrenaline leads change by designing and building people-first experiences that move brands and businesses ahead with strategies that drive growth. We work with organizations and financial institutions across the US and Canada who seek transformation, seamlessly connecting industry-leading thinking, services and operational expertise to deliver change at scale so our clients can sharpen their competitive advantage and grow.

The Senior Construction Project Manager is a highly accountable, senior-level individual contributor who takes full ownership of multiple concurrent projects throughout the entire lifecycle, including due diligence, design, construction documentation, preconstruction, construction, FF&E, and closeout.

This role requires a responsible, self-motivated professional who independently drives projects forward, anticipates challenges, makes sound decisions, and follows through on commitments. The successful candidate will maintain high standards for quality, accuracy, and client service while balancing competing priorities and building long-term client relationships that promote trust, satisfaction, and repeat business.

Responsibilities:

  • Take full ownership and accountability for the successful delivery of multiple projects, from initial due diligence through final closeout.
  • Independently manage project schedules, budgets, scope, quality, risks, documentation, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Lead the initial construction due diligence process and provide clients with clear, accurate summaries and recommendations based on findings.
  • Collaborate with internal design teams and external partners to ensure proposed solutions function as intended and align with client budget, schedule, operational, and brand requirements.
  • Develop and actively manage project estimates, budgets, and schedules (using critical path methodology).
  • Prepare, issue, and manage the RFP process, including scope development, bid analysis, proposal review, contractor and supplier evaluation, and award recommendations.
  • Serve as the primary liaison among clients, architects, engineers, contractors, vendors, suppliers, and internal design resources.
  • Coordinate the development of complete, accurate, and industry-standard construction documents.
  • Inspect and review projects to verify construction quality and compliance with contract documents, building codes, safety standards, and client requirements.
  • Lead a thorough and timely closeout process, ensuring completion of punch-list, turnover documentation, warranties, final approvals, and financial reconciliation.
  • Serve as a trusted, responsive, and solutions-oriented point of contact for clients.
  • Represent Adrenaline professionally in all clients, consultant, contractor, and vendor interactions.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of commercial construction project management experience; retail construction experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven success independently managing multiple projects, including larger programs, rollouts, tenant improvements, remodels, or ground-up construction, while delivering on schedule and within budget.
  • Highly accountable, self-motivated, and resourceful, with strong ownership, urgency, follow-through, and the ability to drive results with limited oversight.
  • Strong attention to detail and consistently high standards for quality, accuracy, organization, and client service; able to identify risks, discrepancies, coordination issues, and missing information.
  • Ability to prioritize competing demands, solve problems, and remain effective in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Project; experience with Bluebeam, Procore, or similar project management platforms preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Ability to travel approximately 10% to 15% of the time.
