Ground Control is seeking an experienced Senior Construction Manager to lead the successful delivery of hard and soft landscape construction projects while taking responsibility for the operational, commercial and people performance of a defined region.
This is a key leadership role, combining hands-on project delivery with regional accountability. You'll oversee a portfolio of projects ranging from £30,000 to £10 million, manage Construction Managers and Site Managers, drive business growth, and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and profitably.
This is a field-based role, offering a combination of working from the office, on-site across the region, and from your home address, providing flexibility while maintaining close engagement with projects, clients and operational teams.
You're a commercially minded construction professional with the ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, build strong relationships at all levels, and are passionate about developing people, delivering exceptional projects and driving regional success.
This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a region within our growing LDE division, delivering landmark landscape construction projects while leading and developing high-performing teams.
Following the recent award of the £20 million North West DfE framework, alongside continued growth opportunities through established relationships with United Utilities and DfE frameworks, this role offers the chance to play a key part in shaping and expanding our presence across the region.
If you're ready to make a significant impact and help shape the future growth of the business, we'd love to hear from you.
