About the Position: Need experienced person in handling & Leading Metro construction activities for construction function

Key Accountabilities:

  • Ensure the delivery of projects in Chennai Metro with in time and budget
  • Handover of systems by duly ensuring the quality of construction work to T&C team
  • Support other project functions to ensure on time delivery through team
  • Ensure HSE compliances at all the time for the projects involved
  • Providing on time construction reports to Project Management team.
  • Visit to site for inspection regularly and improvement from construction side by the team members
  • Attending regular meetings with functional manager, Project Manager and Cross functions of the project team.
  • Attending meetings with customer as per the requirement of PM
  • Maintain forecast less than or equal to Budget for the assigned projects
  • Ensure the quality of the works by team members (e.g. compliance of the works with the projects design and specifications)

• Ensure compliance of construction activities with the construction planning

• Liaise with Customers /Authorities /Contractors/ Partner/Subcontractors for site and/or materials takeover and/or handover through team members as well as by individual according to requirement

• Ensure the optimization of the resources (internal and external/subcontractors) in the project on site, having as baseline the project budget and Planning

• Ensure the continuous updating and improvement of processes and procedures

Key qualifications preferred: Bachelor of Engineering or Diploma in Electrical or electronics and communication Engineering

Additional requirement:

  • Minimum experience of 15 years in signalling field
  • Having experience in Metro / High speed rail is preferred
  • Having knowledge of interface management is preferred
  • Having experience in signalling design is added advantage

What we offer: Positioned at Chennai with 30% travel for other places within India according to project / company requirements.
