Your Impact

As Senior Construction Manager, you are building large-scale BESS (>100MW per project, >6GW pipeline in NL) with our suppliers & contractors, the grid operator and the local stakeholders. For Return as owner of the BESS, you make sure the project gets built according to plan and is ready for delivering our service in Europe’s energy system on time.

What you will do

• Lead the project team with end responsibility for safe, on spec, on time and on budget construction of large-scale BESS projects

• Project management – coordinate all project disciplines including planning, risk management, stakeholder management, HSSE & site management, interface management, QA&QC, permitting

• Acting as representative towards suppliers, contractors and local stakeholders

• Work with finance, contract management and commissioning colleagues to deliver the project

• Based in Amsterdam with work on site throughout The Netherlands

What you bring

• Proven track record in managing complex projects and in managing suppliers & sub-contractors

• 15+ years of relevant working experience with at least 7 years as project manager in the (renewable) energy sector. Experience with High Voltage grid connections is preferable

• Bsc or Msc degree in relevant discipline

• Experience with different types of contracts such as UAV-GC and FIDIC

• Excellent communication, organizational and technical skills

• Fluent in Dutch and English, German is a plus. Willingness to travel (once every 2 weeks for a few days).
