Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Construction Engineer to join our team!

What You'll Be Doing:

• Participating in the safe execution of the works
• Inspecting and testing materials used in Cliff Stabilization operations
• Monitoring and evaluating Cliff Stabilization processes to ensure compliance with regulations
• Analyzing data and preparing reports on quality control findings
• Collaborating with the operations team to implement improvements in quality control procedures
• Conducting regular audits to identify areas for quality enhancement.
• Writes construction specifications and prepares detailed requisitions for equipment and materials. Interfaces with suppliers as required.
• Coordinates work with engineering and construction units at project site. Reviews, approves, and issues detailed design and construction drawings and specifications prepared by others.
• Provides technical guidance to Contractors & Supervision Consultant
• Provides general inspection on all construction tasks to ensure professional workmanship.
• Reviews equipment alignment and balancing operations.
• Identifies to the Construction Manager the need for additional testing or repeat testing as required.
• Participates in the development of quality control reports and procedures.
• Participates in development of job safety practices.
• Prepare the needed reports.
• Ensures adherence to all corporate, contractual, ethics and safety standards, policies, and procedures.
• Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Degree in Civil Engineering (or similar) or with minimum 10 years’ experience on construction projects, specifically experience working on Geotechnical/ Bulk Excavation projects and related infrastructure
• Advantageous to have extensive experience of significant PM/CM contracts.
• Project Management Certified is a plus.
• Strong communication skills in English, written and spoken.

• Strong Contractor Management skills.
