We are looking for a Senior Consolidation Specialist to join our team. You will be reporting to the Head of Consolidation.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assisting subsidiaries in the accurate submission of their consolidation reporting packages in the OneStream consolidation tool, ensuring deadlines are met and that Group recommendations and best practices are applied to ensure information traceability between systems.
  • Performing reviews of subsidiaries' consolidation packages and ensuring their accuracy and compliance with IFRS standards.
  • Providing all analyses required by Management.
  • Identifying, performing, and documenting consolidation adjustments.
  • In liaison with the Treasury department, ensuring the reconciliation between direct and indirect cash flow statements.
  • In liaison with the Legal department, ensuring that the scope of consolidation is kept up to date.
  • In liaison with external valuation experts, organizing and coordinating Purchase Price Allocation (PPA) exercises, understanding their conclusions, and monitoring earn-out mechanisms over time.
  • Managing relationships with the various consolidation stakeholders within subsidiaries (chief accountants, finance managers, treasury, tax teams).
  • In liaison with the technical accounting expert, providing support to operational teams in subsidiaries (assistance with unusual transactions, training on the consolidation tool, transition from statutory accounts to consolidated accounts, etc.).
  • Working as part of a team with offshore teams (SSC).
  • Contribute to preparing interim and annual consolidated financial statements. For yearly reporting, you will participate in reporting for IFRS disclosures and notes.

Job Requirements:

  • 3-6 years' experience in a reporting or consolidation department, in an audit firm (with consolidation assignments), or with a mixed audit / corporate background.
  • Strong expertise in financial accounting (IFRS, accounting processes).
  • ACCA/CIMA membership or study in progress is a strong advantage.
  • Fluent in English, French is a plus.
  • Knowledge of SAP ERP and understanding of consolidation tool and consolidation principles are a plus.
  • Advanced user MS Excel.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills as well as communication skills to maintain an effective network in the finance community.
  • Proactiveness, with the ability to propose improvements to processes, both within their department and in collaboration with the Region for which they will be responsible.
