The ideal candidate is proactive, communicative, accountable, and relentlessly execution-oriented, thriving in both high-level planning and detailed operations.

Responsibilities & Goals:

Global and Local Event Leadership

  • Serve as Seer’s central leader for global conference and event strategy, with full ownership of the planning and execution of major industry conferences, regional field events, webinars, and customer programs.
  • Manage local events (e.g. roadshows, seminars, workshops) with the same rigor and strategic intent as global ones—ensuring consistent brand presence, customer value, and operational excellence.
  • Maintain a proactive, forward-looking events calendar that anticipates industry moments, internal priorities, and customer needs.

Strategy, Market Intelligence & Continuous Optimization

  • Define and evolve customer engagement strategies, particularly for conferences and other in-person events, that align with Seer’s commercial objectives, balancing budget efficiency with maximum impact.
  • Lead as a trusted internal voice on market intelligence and customer segmentation, surfacing key insights that shape Seer’s presence and priorities at events.
  • Consistently evaluate and refine event selections, formats, and spending based on measurable results and changing market dynamics.

End-to-End Execution & Logistics Ownership

  • Fully own event execution, from high-level planning to day-of logistics, including: venue and vendor coordination, contract negotiation, sponsorships, AV, catering, exhibitor management, and branded collateral.
  • Proactively anticipate operational needs and mitigate risks—ensuring events run smoothly and represent Seer at the highest standard.
  • Lead the execution of live and on-demand webinars, integrating them into the broader events ecosystem.

Creative Lead

  • Lead end-to-end development of conference creative assets, translating strategic objectives into compelling concepts and ensuring alignment across brand, messaging, and audience needs from initial brief through final production.
  • Manage cross-functional collaboration with internal stakeholders and external agencies to drive timely execution of all creative deliverables, including design, content development, approvals, and print production.
  • Oversee quality control and production logistics, ensuring all assets are delivered on time, on brand, and print-ready, while proactively troubleshooting issues and optimizing processes for efficiency and scalability.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Communication

  • Act as a strong, proactive communicator across internal teams, driving clarity, alignment, and accountability from early planning through post-event analysis.
  • Partner with executive leadership, product marketing, commercial, brand, and digital teams to align on messaging, objectives, and KPIs.
  • Provide clear, timely updates on event planning, milestones, roles/responsibilities, and follow-through to all stakeholders.

Lead Capture, CRM Integration & Post-Event ROI

  • Own and optimize lead capture processes, working closely with vendors and marketing ops to ensure timely CRM integration and nurturing flows.
  • Translate event performance into actionable metrics—tracking engagement, lead quality, pipeline influence, and brand impact.

Scalable Systems & Process Development

  • Build operational infrastructure including repeatable playbooks, checklists, templates, and SOPs to ensure every event is executed efficiently, regardless of size or geography.
  • Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement across every aspect of event planning and execution.

About Seer

At Seer, we develop innovative solutions that act as a gateway to the proteome. Our goal is to empower the scientific community with tools to achieve exceptional scientific outcomes. We do this by removing the technological barriers that stand between breakthrough ideas and the information that can make them a reality.

Over the last 15 years, the fields of genomics and transcriptomics have undergone an explosion in content and discovery, fueled by massively parallel technologies that made large-scale studies possible and tractable. Advancement in those fields have deepened our understanding of biology and ushered in new treatment mechanisms and diagnostics solutions that impact everyday human life.

Similar capabilities have evaded the field of proteomics. As a result, researchers have been forced into a tradeoff: the scale of the study, or the depth of its coverage. Until now.

We’re committed to eliminating the obstacles that have kept proteomics’ potential from matching the pace of advancements we’ve seen in other fields. We believe that unbiased, deep, rapid, large-scale proteomics can, and must, become accessible to the broad scientific community so that we may significantly advance our understanding of biology, health, and disease. And those studies will require solutions that allow us to accurately survey and analyze the full diversity of proteins across individuals, over time.
