Job Description

Senior Conference & Events Sales Coordinator
Location: Birmingham
Salary: £31,000 per annum + bonus incentives
The Role:

  • Manage high-value, high-profile conference and event enquiries from initial enquiry through to delivery

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive repeat and rollover business

  • Support the day-to-day operations of the Conference & Events Sales Office

  • Oversee the commercial diary to maximise revenue and occupancy across meetings and events space

  • Conduct professional client show rounds to secure new business

  • Produce detailed event documentation and ensure all departments are fully briefed

  • Lead on pre-event communication for key bookings

  • Support, coach and develop junior team members within the department

  • Negotiate effectively with clients to secure commercially viable business

  • The Candidate:

  • Experience within Conference & Events, hotel sales or a similar commercial role

  • Strong organisational and planning skills with excellent attention to detail

  • Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships at all levels

  • Commercially aware with the ability to drive revenue and conversion

  • Comfortable working to targets and within a fast-paced environment

  • Strong leadership qualities with the ability to support and develop a team

  • The Package:
