
Senior Conference & Events Sales Coordinator
Location: Birmingham
Salary: £31,000 per annum + bonus incentives
The Role:
Manage high-value, high-profile conference and event enquiries from initial enquiry through to delivery
Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive repeat and rollover business
Support the day-to-day operations of the Conference & Events Sales Office
Oversee the commercial diary to maximise revenue and occupancy across meetings and events space
Conduct professional client show rounds to secure new business
Produce detailed event documentation and ensure all departments are fully briefed
Lead on pre-event communication for key bookings
Support, coach and develop junior team members within the department
Negotiate effectively with clients to secure commercially viable business
The Candidate:
Experience within Conference & Events, hotel sales or a similar commercial role
Strong organisational and planning skills with excellent attention to detail
Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships at all levels
Commercially aware with the ability to drive revenue and conversion
Comfortable working to targets and within a fast-paced environment
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to support and develop a team
