Senior Component Engineer - Hydrogen Energy System

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Derive component requirements from system and subsystem specifications.
• Define component performance requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Evaluate suppliers’ technical data and proposed component solutions.
• Support component selection and sourcing activities.
• Participate in supplier design reviews and technical discussions.
• Support the integration of components into the overall system architecture.
• Contribute to verification planning and system qualification activities.
• Prepare technical reports and engineering documentation.

YOUR PROFILE:

• Master’s degree or Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Energy Systems, or a related field.
• Experience in component engineering, product development, or systems engineering.
• Experience in deriving component requirements from system-level targets.
• Good knowledge of component performance specifications and technical documentation.
• Experience in supplier technical assessments and design reviews.
• Understanding of system architecture and component integration processes.
• Ability to analyze and validate supplier data against defined performance requirements.
• Knowledge of verification and validation processes.
• Familiarity with FMEA, HAZOP, and risk assessment methodologies is an asset.
• Experience with fuel cells, hydrogen systems, batteries, thermal management systems, or related technologies is a plus.
• Strong communication skills in English and the ability to work effectively in an international environment.
