About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Senior Compliance Officer to join our Compliance team in a temporary position. In this role, you will help ensure that our business remains fully compliant with regulatory requirements and obligations, primarily under MIFID II, MAR, the Norwegian Securities Trading Act and Regulations and other local Norwegian legislation, while supporting the organization in maintaining a strong and mature compliance culture.
You will report to the Group Head of Corporate Compliance and collaborate with a wide range of teams internally, including Group Corporate Compliance, Risk, Internal Control, Listing Market Services and Legal & Regulatory Affairs, and maintain strong relationships with external regulators. This role offers broad exposure, ownership, and the opportunity to influence how compliance is embedded throughout our operations.
Your main responsibilities
Who we are looking for
You have a minimum of 3+ years experience from a regulatory or compliance function within the financial sector, preferably with a legal masters’ degree. K nowledge and experience related to key regulations such as MiFID II, MAR, and related legislation are required or strongly preferred. You understand complex regulatory frameworks and enjoy translating them into clear, practical guidance for the business.
