Job Description

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Develop and maintain current knowledge of bank regulations.
  • Prepare and lead monitoring programs and may instruct junior officers or other staff conducting monitoring.
  • Review and analyze advertising materials. Perform research to determine what regulations are impacted and decide if the materials are in compliance. Provide approval on advertising materials to marketing.
  • Research regulations to respond to questions from other departments of the bank.
  • Facilitate the completion of compliance related projects.
  • Assist in managing Regulatory Compliance Examinations.
Qualifications Required Skills:
  • Intermediate to advanced PC skills for Microsoft Office -- Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to conduct research via written materials as well as electronic versions.
  • Ability to complete projects effectively.
  • Ability to achieve proficiency with varied department software.
  • Ability to work independently based on a set schedule.
Required Experience:
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 3 years of related compliance experience.
Preferred Experience:
  • Background in Regulatory Compliance or Compliance Audit.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Having attended the ABA/Institute of Certified Bankers (ICB) Undergraduate Compliance School.
  • Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) designation.
