This role will be supporting our Alipay+ and Antom business lines.

Job

Based in Luxembourg, this individual will be part of a growing and dynamic EMEA Compliance team supporting Ant International business

The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented, hard-working, confident self-starterwith strong interpersonal, project management and organizational skills, experienced in the regulatorycompliance in payments or financial services industry, and with demonstrable ability to effectively and proactively engage and partner with the business in a fast-paced and engaging environment.

The person for this position will work closely with other stakeholders, including legal, risk management functions, AML professionals, business and operations teams of Ant International.

The position holder is the focal point within the Ant International business units for the oversight of all activities relating to the management of regulatory compliance and providing support and guidance to the Board and senior management to ensure that the regulatory compliance risks are adequately managed.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Providing assurance to thesenior management that regulatory compliance risks are managed effectively within the licensed entity;
  • Formulating and reviewing policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance with all relevant laws, regulations and group policies;
  • Identifying regulatory compliance risks and establishing effective controls; escalatingpotential regulatory and policy breaches and conduct issues to senior management;
  • Monitoring of regional regulatory and law changes, performing regulatory impact assessments and leading regulatory implementation projects to ensure that all relevant stakeholders are advised and in full compliance with these requirements;
  • Overseeingthe outsourcing framework ensuring compliance with the regulatory requirements;
  • Managing the annual Compliance Monitoring Plan and the relevant thematic reviews;
  • Providing regulatory advice to the Business teams in relation to the launch of new products and services;
  • Supporting the regulatory reporting process;
  • Supporting key regulatory projects of the EMEA Compliance team;
  • Working closely with other internal control functions to ensure overall compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements

Role Requirement

  • Significant depth of relevant compliance, regulatory or similar experience.
  • Strong regulatory compliance experience and demonstrable skills in payments services compliance, regional regulatory management.
  • Knowledgeable in fintech, digital assets, stablecoins, payment systems or similar legal and regulatory requirements in the EMEA region
  • Familiarity with the main laws and regulations in the payments industry, including PSD2/EMD/Payment services Law, Outsourcing Circular are essential
  • DORA and MiCAR experience would be preferred but not a must have.
  • Excellent project management skills and sound judgement.
  • Self-starter with good attitude. Resourceful, adaptable and flexible in a highly engaging, demanding and rewarding environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in English required.
  • Experience with e-commerce, paymentsor financial services preferred.
