We are seeking a Compliance Consultant specialising in Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures, with a focus on second-line.

What will you be doing?

As a Compliance Consultant specialising in AML/KYC, your role is maintaining the integrity of our financial systems. Here's a glimpse into your typical day:

  • Conducting in-depth reviews of AML/KYC procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Creating and updating policies and procedures related to AML/KYC, tailored to the client’s needs and ensuring alignment with all applicable internal and regulatory requirements.
  • Identifying enhancement opportunities for KYC and AML processes and implementing these changes.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement and enhance digital compliance tools and processes.
  • Be on top of the technology solutions and guide the client in selecting the right tools and support with the implementation.
  • Providing guidance and support to internal stakeholders on compliance-related matters.
  • Assisting in the development and execution of compliance monitoring programs.
  • Contributing to the design and implementation of AML/KYC training programs for employees.
  • Being a guide, a counsellor and a sounding board for the junior levels to overperform on projects.

What do you bring to the table?

We're looking for candidates who possess the following:

  • Proven AML/KYC Expertise: bring 2-5 years of solid experience in AML/KYC, ideally with a focus on second-line defence.
  • Digital Compliance Proficiency: display a strong inclination towards digital compliance, with hands-on experience or a keen interest in compliance tooling and project management.
  • Academic Excellence: hold a master's degree in a relevant field, demonstrating a strong foundation in compliance principles and practices.
  • Language Proficiency: possess fluency in Dutch, French, and English, enabling seamless communication across international borders.
  • Commitment to Efficiency: show a relentless pursuit of efficiency, consistently exploring technical solutions to optimise processes and workflows.
  • Analytical Rigor: exhibit a meticulous and analytical approach to work, with the ability to objectively evaluate and critique both your own and others' contributions.
  • Initiative and Collaboration: demonstrate a proactive attitude towards problem-solving, coupled with a collaborative spirit that values input from colleagues and ensures transparent project communication.
  • Certification Advantage: holders of Compliance certifications will be given preference, although it is not mandatory.
  • Regulatory Acumen: navigate the intricate landscape of regulatory requirements with confidence, leveraging strong analytical skills to interpret and implement complex regulations effectively.
