We have an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about reducing household related carbon emissions and increasing climate resilience. You will be part of an effective team developing and delivering local and regional projects to deliver on the goals of Te Tāruke-ā-Tāwhiri: Auckland's Climate Plan.
As a Senior Community Climate Action Advisor in the Climate Action Solutions team, you will:
You do not have to be a climate scientist or climate expert, although you may have had the first-hand experience of the impacts of climate change.
Our work is team-based and delivered in collaboration with key stakeholders in the community and council, so developing and maintaining productive relationships is key.
He kōrero mōu: About you
You’ll have previous experience in managing projects that involve raising the understanding and awareness of significant environmental or social issues, or programmes involving changing people’s behaviour.
