Job Description

ABOUT US

We’re the world’s leading provider of secure financial messaging services, headquartered in Belgium. We are the way the world moves value – across borders, through cities and overseas. No other organisation can address the scale, precision, pace and trust that this demands, and we’re proud to support the global economy.

We’re unique too. We were established to find a better way for the global financial community to move value – a reliable, safe and secure approach that the community can trust, completely. We’re always striving to be better and are constantly evolving in an ever-changing landscape, without undermining that trust. Five decades on, our vibrant community reflects the complexity and diversity of the financial ecosystem. We innovate diligently, test exhaustively, then implement fast. In a connected and exciting era, our mission has never been more relevant. Swift now has a presence in 200+ countries and legal territories to serve a community of more than 12,000 banks and financial institutions.

The role sits within the CEO Office under the umbrella of Corporate Office Execution and focuses on supporting the planning, coordination and delivery of high-profile executive engagement activity across Swift’s global stakeholder ecosystem.

This role will combine strategic content development, executive briefing support as well as some cross-functional programme management with the aim of preparing, aligning and effectively positioning the CEO and other senior leaders across key external engagements. Working across a fast-paced and high-visibility environment, the successful candidate will help drive the operational rhythm behind CEO Office External Engagement priorities and support delivery of best-in-class engagements across the financial services industry.

  • Partner with senior internal stakeholders across strategy, communications, public affairs, regional teams, product, legal, and business functions.
  • Support the management of complex executive schedules and engagement planning across multiple time zones, priorities, and stakeholders.
  • Monitor emerging developments, issues, and strategic themes relevant to executive activity and stakeholder engagement.
  • Operate with discretion and sound judgement when handling sensitive or confidential information.

Candidate Profile

  • The successful candidate will be a highly-organised and strategically minded professional with strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • They will demonstrate:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to distil complex topics into clear executive-ready materials.
  • Strong programme management and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Confidence operating in senior stakeholder environments and interacting with executive leadership.
  • The ability to work effectively under pressure, navigate ambiguity, and deliver high-quality outputs to demanding timelines.
  • Strong judgement, professionalism, and attention to detail.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach, with the ability to work across a highly matrixed international organisation.
  • Intellectual curiosity and the ability to rapidly absorb unfamiliar subject matter.

Job Qualifications
