The Senior Communication Specialist, Global plays a key role in helping employees understand company strategy, priorities and decisions through clear, compelling and high-quality visual internal communications.

This role partners closely with the Global Internal Communications team to create executive level communication materials and deliver global, regional and functional communication initiatives. The role blends strong visual communication and presentation design with storytelling, ensuring messages are not only clear, but engaging, accessible and impactful across a global audience.

Key Responsibilities

Executive & Strategic Communications

  • Partner with the Senior Communication Managers to shape, develop and deliver global communication strategies aligned to business priorities.
  • Translate business topics into creative, visually appealing and compelling stories that resonate with diverse audiences

Content Creation & Presentation Design

  • Own the creation and development of communication collateral for executive leadership initiatives, including:
    • PowerPoint presentations
    • Video briefs and visual storytelling assets
    • Executive emails and leader toolkits
    • Event materials and assets
  • Design and refine presentation materials with a strong visual standard, ensuring clarity, consistency and professional polish.
  • Apply basic design principles (layout, hierarchy, visual flow) to enhance message impact across slides and written materials.
  • Support design work needed for other communication activities, including our intranet, newsletter, digital screens, etc.

Global Communications & Events

  • Support the planning and execution of internal global events and key communication strategies, including:
    • Annual Global Summit
    • Global leadership meetings
    • Global organizational changes and updates
    • Crisis and change communications
    • Technology and people-related initiatives

Feedback, Alignment & Stakeholder Support

  • Build strong relationships across regions and functions and serve as a point of contact for tactical communication support when needed.
  • Share insights with the Global Communication Team to inform future communication approaches.

Qualifications

Skills & Competencies

Presentation & Visual Communication

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, with the ability to create executive-ready decks.
  • Strong working knowledge of Canva for fast, high-quality visual communication.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) strongly preferred.
  • Understanding of basic design principles (layout, visual hierarchy, consistency).
  • Familiarity with video storytelling, basic video editing or working with creative partners.

Communication & Storytelling

  • Strong written communication and storytelling skills.
  • Strong editorial judgment and attention to tone, clarity and audience relevance.
  • Ability to translate complex information into clear, concise, and engaging messages.

Strategic & Interpersonal Skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Comfortable partnering with senior leaders and handling confidential information with discretion.
  • Highly organized, adaptable and effective in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Job Requirements

  • College or university degree (or design certifications)
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in communications, strategy, writing, journalism or a related field.
  • Strong writing, editing and proofreading capabilities.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining quality and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working in a global, matrixed environment.
