The Senior Commissioning I&C Engineer is responsible for providing technical input, support and guidance, providing direct interface with the Customer.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support the review and evaluation of as-built documentation and engineering studies documentation related to I&C systems.
  • Participates in the review and execution of methodologies, commissioning procedures and schedules for I&C systems, ensuring readiness for operational handover.
  • Supports the development, review and validation of commissioning, operating and maintenance procedures.
  • Coordinates with commissioning and engineering teams to resolve technical issues arising during system start-up and performance testing.
  • Verifies that system functionality, safety interlocks, and operational parameters meet design intent and regulatory requirements.
  • Provides engineering support during initial operation phases, including troubleshooting and optimization of I&C systems.
  • Reviews and validates commissioning records, test reports, and system acceptance documentation for completeness and compliance.
  • Review training materials and training records specific to I&C systems design, operation, and engineering principles.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in I&C Engineering or equivalent.
  • Strong technical skills; 8+ years of experience in I&C engineering on large scale projects.
  • Experience in commissioning nuclear power plants is required.
  • Knowledge of European and Russian nuclear I&C codes is a plus.
  • Familiar with the design review, understanding of I&C NPP Systems functionality and design requirements.

Special Job Requirements

  • Ability to analyze, communicate, influence and persuade.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are essential; understanding of Russian and/or Arabic is a plus.
  • Proactive team player, proven to be effective in a multi-cultural environment.
