Your Role:
The Sr. Project Manager is a key member of the PS organization, responsible for managingcomplex commercial and upstream customer projects that drive sales revenue, businessgrowth, and customer satisfaction. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functionaland cross-regional stakeholders — including Franchise, Manufacturing, and R&D teams acrossChina, APeC, Europe, and the USA — to ensure on-time, on-quality, and on-budget delivery.
The Sr. Project Manager brings a diverse, cross-functional background and applies strong leadership, technical expertise, coaching, and team-building skills alongside advanced projectmanagement and planning capabilities to achieve identified opportunity goals and objectives.
Key Accountabilities
• Plan, manage, and deliver complex customer upstream projects on time, on quality, andon budget.
• Drive internal discussions and facilitate decision-making across multiple functions and
sites.
• Coordinate project meetings, both internally and with customers, and deliver critical
communications to key stakeholders.
• Manage resources, timelines, and cross-functional dependencies throughout the projectlifecycle.
• Provide regular project status updates to the Customer Application Head.
• Oversee change control processes and ensure effective data management and cross-
functional data exchange.
• Drive delivery performance from operations, including prioritization, identification ofbottlenecks, and development of solutions.
• Lead continuous improvement of project management workflows and cross-functional
processes to enhance efficiency and delivery performance
Who Your Are:
• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in project or program management within the biopharmaceutical industry.
• Extensive customer-facing experience in biopharmaceutical upstream process, with a strong track record of managing complex projects.
• Advanced knowledge of project management and program management methodologies.
• Extensive knowledge of biopharmaceutical upstream processing.
• Thorough understanding of Office 365 and project management platforms.
• Results-driven with a strong quality and customer focus; proven ability to motivate cross-functional teams to achieve goals within defined timelines.
• Strong ability to drive projects in a matrix environment across multiple departments and functions with high agility.
• Excellent organizational, decision-making, and negotiation skills.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and perform effectively under pressure.
• Sound financial acumen and general business knowledge.
• Business fluency in both Mandarin and English, including the ability to deliver presentations and address large groups.
