By combining UGL's expertise in engineering, commissioning and infrastructure services with CPB Contractors' market-leading construction capability, we deliver seamless end-to-end solutions across the project lifecycle.As part of the global ACS Group, you'll be supported by industry-leading systems, capability and a long-term pipeline of mission-critical projects across Australia and internationally.The OpportunityAs Senior Commercial Manager, you will lead the commercial strategy, governance and financial performance of major data centre projects from contract award through to final completion.You will provide commercial leadership across project teams, ensuring robust contract administration, proactive risk management and strong financial outcomes while supporting the successful delivery of complex mission-critical infrastructure.Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end commercial performance across major data centre projectsLead the administration of head contracts and high-value M&E and trade subcontractsManage contract compliance, variations, claims and dispute resolution processesPartner with project leadership teams to enhance project profitability and commercial outcomesIdentify and mitigate commercial risks while supporting project delivery objectivesDevelop strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and key stakeholdersAbout YouWe're looking for a commercially astute leader with experience delivering complex construction or infrastructure projects.You will bring:Significant experience as a Commercial Manager or Senior Commercial Manager with projects in data centres, hospitals, defence facilities, airports, laboratories or large-scale commercial developments will be highly regarded.Strong experience managing GMP and large-scale project contractsDemonstrated expertise in contract management, commercial governance and financial performance managementProven capability in subcontract procurement, negotiation and administrationStrong stakeholder engagement, leadership and influencing skillsCareer Growth & Long-Term PipelineThis is more than a project role.Australia's accelerating investment in AI infrastructure, cloud services and digital connectivity is creating a long-term pipeline of hyperscale data centre developments.As part of our growing Data Centre business, you'll benefit from:A strong pipeline of future mission-critical and data centre projectsLong-term career progression opportunities within UGL and CPB ContractorsExposure to nationally significant infrastructure programsLeadership development and internal mobility pathwaysAccess to global expertise and international project networks through the ACS GroupOpportunities to build a career across Australia and internationallyNext StepsIf you're ready to take the next step in your commercial leadership career and help deliver the infrastructure powering Australia's digital future, we'd love to hear from you.As part of the recruitment process, checks may be conducted including right to work, reference checks, medical, drug and alcohol testing, and criminal background checks (as relevant to the role).
