Are you passionate about driving commercial success through data driven insights and strategic contract negotiation-The Enterprise Commercial Office is seeking a Senior Commercial Management Analyst to support commercial strategy, contract management, and risk mitigation across corridor maintenance and infrastructure-related initiatives. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Enterprise Commercial Management (Corridor Maintenance), you will work closely with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver commercial value, strengthen contract performance, and manage risk throughout the contract lifecycle.
In this role, you will contribute to procurement and contracting strategies, pricing and financial analysis, contract negotiations, vendor performance management, and issue resolution while supporting strategic and operational decision-making.
In-Office Requirement – NON-HR: This role is an in‑office position based at our 20 Bay Street Office location. Our team is highly collaborative, and much of our work benefits from in‑person co‑creation, relationship‑building, and hands‑on partnership with leaders across the organization.
What will I be doing?
Support the development and execution of sourcing and contracting strategies, including procurement planning, pricing analysis, contract reviews, negotiations, approvals, execution, and issue management across multiple projects and contracts.
Partner with business units to develop procurement and go-to-market strategies, tender approaches, and commercial recommendations that align with operational objectives and value-for-money principles.
Conduct commercial and contractual risk assessments throughout the contract lifecycle to identify risks, evaluate requirements, and recommend mitigation strategies.
Perform pricing and financial analysis and develop high-quality presentations, briefing materials, and data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making and executive reporting.
Support vendor and contract negotiations by reviewing commercial terms, evaluating risk exposure, and negotiating commercially favorable outcomes that protect organizational interests.
Develop commercial tools, evidence, and methodologies to demonstrate value for money, support commercial decision-making, and strengthen procurement outcomes.
Contribute to contract governance, negotiation, and management strategies to ensure compliance with corporate policies, contractual obligations, and risk management requirements.
Support the development and continuous improvement of commercial management processes, procedures, and best practices aligned with enterprise standards.
Facilitate commercial working sessions and stakeholder meetings with internal and external partners, demonstrating strong organizational, communication, and relationship-management skills.
Lead or support claims and issue management activities, including information gathering, vendor coordination, issue resolution, and support for legal or litigation-related matters where required.
Prepare research, briefing notes, reports, and executive-ready presentations for senior leadership and other key stakeholders.

What Skills and Qualifications Do I Need?
- Completion of a university degree in a related discipline such as Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. A Master of Business Administration (MBA) is considered an asset.
- Demonstrated experience in commercial management, contract administration, procurement, negotiations, and project governance within complex operational or project environments.
- Strong understanding of contract administration, procurement processes, and commercial and contractual risk management principles.
- Proven organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and support delivery in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
- Strong interpersonal, influencing, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a range of internal stakeholders, external partners, vendors, and agencies to achieve successful outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience preparing reports, dashboards, and executive-level presentations, including the ability to translate complex data into clear insights for senior leadership.
- Experience coordinating vendors, consultants, and internal stakeholders to support contract delivery, compliance with regulatory and corporate requirements, and effective issue resolution.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to analyze large datasets and extract meaningful commercial and financial insights. Experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools is considered an asset.
- Proficiency in all MS Office products (e.g. Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Access, etc.).
- At least two years demonstrated experience administering commercial management projects, contract negotiations, and project governance in complex environments.
