Job Description

We’re looking for a Senior Commercial Finance Analyst, who will play an important role in shaping the financial future of our business. Sitting in our global Finance team, this role will partner closely with leaders across Intrepid to deliver meaningful financial insights which drive better decision making and support key financial reporting, analysis and budgeting processes for our teams globally and our Country Offices.

In this role you will own month-end analysis, management reporting, forecasting and budgeting across our key business areas, and translate complex financial data into clear commercial recommendations which will influence strategy and business decisions. This is a highly visible business partnering role where you’ll work closely with senior stakeholders across a range of our global departments and our Country Office network.

From challenging assumptions to identifying growth opportunities, and advising on budget and forecast cycles, you’ll be a trusted advisor who helps our leaders understand their numbers and make performance decisions. This position will also play a key role in delivering executive level reporting and shape discussions at the highest levels of the business, therefore we are looking for someone with strong commercial acumen, excellent analytical skills and a passion for continuous improvement and automation.

This is a full-time, permanent position based out of our HQ on Collins Street with the flexibility to work 2 days a week from home.

Some of the experience you’ll bring with you, includes:

• Bachelor of Commerce or a related business degree
• CPA/CA (or equivalent) qualifications completed
• 5 years’ experience in a Finance based role – Commercial & Tourism experience desirable
• Business performance reporting & planning
• Demonstrated wider commercial and business acumen
• In-depth understanding of systems (knowledge of TM1 desirable)
• PowerBI, dashboard reporting or financial modelling desirable
