As a Senior Analyst, Commercial Development, this role specifically supports the Enhancers business by translating category, customer, and channel insights into actions that strengthen performance across Walmart and Strategic Growth Channel retailers. This position sits at the intersection of analytics, commercial strategy, and customer execution, helping deliver growth by supporting the plans, insights, and tools that enable our teams to win in market.
This Senior Analyst, Commercial Development position supports the Commercial Development organization through analytics, reporting, sales presentation development, and cross-functional coordination. The role helps translate category, customer, and channel insights into actionable commercial plans that support business growth, strengthen field sales execution, and improve decision-making across the organization. This position also partners closely with Commercial Development Managers and cross-functional teams to support customer planning, deployment activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
of Key Responsibilities
Support Commercial Development Managers in developing 4P tactics by channel and customer, including brand objectives, growth drivers, category roadmap strategies, activation tactics, and new item plans.
Provide support for ad hoc reporting, sales presentations, communications, SDB writing, and CAP development activities across the Commercial Development organization.
Analyze category, customer, and channel data to identify trends, opportunities, and actionable insights that inform commercial strategy.
Contribute category and segment insights to selected customers and provide feedback to field sales on business development opportunities.
Communicate initiative results and business updates to field sales teams and customers to support execution and alignment.
Assist in the development and deployment of CAP presentations and related customer-facing materials.
Partner with cross-functional teams, including the Hub and CMI, to leverage standardized reports, business insights, and category growth opportunities in support of the Commercial Development team.
Support forecast accuracy, sales performance targets, segmentation, resource allocation, and customer service improvement initiatives.
Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to improve processes, analytics, and selling capabilities that add value to customers and the business.
of Experience
A minimum of 18 months of experience in retail sales required.
Experience supporting business performance through analytics, reporting, and sales-related planning activities.
Experience developing presentations and business materials to support commercial planning and field sales execution.
Basic Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint required.

Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to develop clear, effective business materials.

Knowledge of the interrelationship of key business functions, including Sales, Marketing, Finance, HR, Supply Chain, Technical, and IS/IT.
Knowledge of business-driving technology solutions and internal/external industry insights and trends, including tools such as Nielsen, BW, and Source.
Understanding of core business processes and fundamentals, including sales and distribution, customer planning and management, financial reporting, training, HR policies, coordinated commercial planning, and Nestlé management and leadership principles.
