Senior Command Centre & Automation Engineer

- We are seeking an experienced Senior Command Centre & Automation Engineer to support enterprise IT operations, real-time monitoring, incident management, and automation initiatives.
- The successful candidate will monitor critical systems, manage high-severity incidents, develop automation solutions, and support system integration and deployment activities.
- The role requires strong technical troubleshooting, scripting, analytical, and stakeholder management capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Command Centre Operations
- Monitor enterprise dashboards, IT infrastructure, and operational processes in real time.
- Monitor and respond to system alerts and potential service interruptions.
- Troubleshoot incidents and initiate appropriate recovery procedures.
- Ensure compliance with SLAs, system availability targets, and KPIs
- Act as a primary escalation point for high-severity incidents.
- Coordinate with specialized technical teams to resolve critical incidents.
- Provide clear and timely incident updates to stakeholders.
Automation & Scripting
- Identify repetitive and manual operational activities suitable for automation.
- Design and implement automated solutions to improve operational efficiency.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using:
- Python
- Java
- Shell scripting
- Develop and maintain automation test protocols.
- Optimize existing operational processes through automation.
System Integration
- Configure and support information exchange between systems, inputs, controllers, and outputs.
- Troubleshoot system integration and data-flow issues.
- Support integration of automation solutions across enterprise environments.
Quality Assurance & Deployment
- Design and execute simulations and automated tests before deployment.
- Validate functionality, performance, and reliability of automation solutions.
- Identify, document, and track defects.
- Perform root-cause analysis and implement permanent fixes.
- Support deployment and release activities.
Essential Skills
- 8–10 years of relevant IT experience.
