Alexandria, NSW | Full-Time | Experienced Collections Professional

We're looking for an experienced and results-driven professional to join our high-performing Consumer team, helping customers find sustainable solutions while delivering outstanding outcomes for our clients. The position focuses on complex collections activity, customer resolution, compliance, mentoring, and supporting team performance.

👇 What You'll Be Doing:

• Managing inbound and outbound collections calls
• Negotiating payment arrangements to achieve positive outcomes for both customers and clients
• Resolving complex customer enquiries and handling objections effectively
• Identifying vulnerable customers and working closely with Financial Hardship teams to provide appropriate support
• Supporting the Team Leader and Operations Manager in delivering a team-focused approach to all collection activities
• Assisting the Team Leader with onboarding and on-phone training of new employees
• Maintaining compliance with all industry regulations, legislation, and company policies
• Achieving and exceeding KPI, quality, and performance targets
• Acting as a role model for professionalism, attendance, compliance, and customer service excellence

💡 What You'll Need:

• Previous collections or debt recovery experience
• Strong negotiation, objection-handling, and conflict-resolution skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high level of emotional intelligence
• Ability to manage difficult conversations with empathy and professionalism
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Experience working in a fast-paced, KPI-driven environment
• Confidence using Microsoft Office and multiple systems simultaneously
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Experience with collections platforms such as TCN and Collexus will be highly regarded.
