A leading strength and performance training brand is seeking a talented and motivated Senior Coach to join their growing team in their South West London studios. This is an exceptional opportunity to be part of a results-driven, community-led environment where training excellence, personal growth, and member experience sit at the heart of everything they do.

The ideal candidates will be energetic, technically skilled, and passionate about helping members reach their full potential. As part of a high-performing team, all staff members will deliver elite-level programming, contribute to the wider gym culture, and uphold the professional standards that define this brand as a leader in functional fitness and personal training.

This is a perfect opportunity for an experienced coach who wants to keep a connection to coaching, but who is also looking to level up their management experience.

The Basics:

● Salary: £35- £40k.

● Full-time (20-25 hours coaching per week + additional management responsibilities)

● Structured progression into senior roles and leadership opportunities.

● Complimentary training membership.

● Location: Wandsworth

Key Responsibilities:

1. Training Delivery

  • Deliver personal and group training sessions to the highest standard, maintaining consistency with company programming and methodology.

  • Provide members with professional coaching, constructive feedback, and a motivating, safe training environment.

  • Contribute ideas to refine programming and ensure the smooth daily operation of the facility.

  • Stay up to date with the latest training research, trends, and techniques to continually improve coaching delivery.

  • Attend weekly team meetings and workshops to maintain alignment and standards across the coaching team.

2. Member Experience

  • Deliver exceptional, personalised member experiences—ensuring every individual feels supported, motivated, and valued.

  • Play an active role in onboarding new members, helping them integrate seamlessly into the community.

  • Support retention initiatives and contribute to a positive, inclusive, and empowering training environment.

  • Act as an ambassador for the brand, fostering strong relationships with members and visitors alike.

3. Facility Standards & Safety

  • Ensure all members train safely and that all equipment and facilities are maintained to a professional standard.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation across training spaces at all times.

  • Report and log any maintenance issues, adhering to health and safety procedures.

4. Professional Development

  • Commit to completing all in-house training and development modules within set timelines.

  • Engage in continuous professional education to enhance both technical and interpersonal coaching skills.

  • Take ownership of your career progression, working closely with senior leadership to achieve development goals.

5. Team Contribution

  • Collaborate with the wider site team to achieve membership, engagement, and retention targets.

  • Support events, open days, and community initiatives that strengthen brand engagement.

  • Contribute to internal discussions and share member insights to improve programming and service delivery.

  • Provide cover and assistance across different roles when required, ensuring seamless operations across all sites.

The Person:

  • Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification (minimum).

  • Proven experience in delivering both personal and small-group training.

  • Strong technical coaching skills with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Highly professional, proactive, and organised, with a commitment to excellence.

  • A genuine team player who thrives in a collaborative, high-performance environment.

  • Passionate about strength training, functional fitness, and helping others reach their goals.

  • Ambitious, coachable, and eager to grow within a structured development framework.
