Job Summary:

The Senior Cloud & Systems Engineer, based in Algosystems in Athens Greece, will be a hands-on engineer with experience in designing, implementing and migrating enterprise Microsoft environments, capable of taking ownership of complex cloud and hybrid projects from technical design through implementation and troubleshooting.

The role focuses on Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365 and hybrid cloud environments, combining strong cloud expertise with a solid understanding of Microsoft on-premises infrastructure.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement and support Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud environments for enterprise customers.
• Deploy, configure and manage Azure services, including Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, Storage and identity services.
• Design and implement hybrid architectures, integrating Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 with existing on-premises environments.
• Design, configure and manage Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and hybrid identity environments.
• Implement and administer Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Intune, Defender and SharePoint Online.
• Design and implement Microsoft Intune solutions for endpoint and device management.
• Configure and support Microsoft Defender solutions across Microsoft cloud environments.
• Plan and execute cloud migration and modernization projects, including the migration of servers, applications and workloads from on-premises environments to Microsoft Azure.
• Plan and execute Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online migrations.
• Implement and support Exchange Online and Hybrid Exchange environments.
• Configure and support Windows Server and Active Directory environments, particularly as part of hybrid cloud implementations and migration projects.
• Implement and troubleshoot Active Directory / Entra ID synchronization and hybrid identity solutions.
• Assess existing customer infrastructures and translate technical and business requirements into appropriate cloud and hybrid solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues across Azure, Microsoft 365, identity and hybrid environments.
• Automate administrative and cloud operations using PowerShell.
• Apply Microsoft cloud security, identity and compliance best practices.
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity, Network and other technical teams for the successful delivery of end-to-end customer solutions.
• Participate in technical workshops, architecture discussions and solution design for enterprise customers.
• Provide technical guidance and recommendations regarding cloud adoption, modernization, scalability and security.

Qualifications and Work Experience

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in Cloud, Systems or Infrastructure Engineering, with strong recent exposure to Microsoft cloud technologies.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 services and administration.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Entra ID / Azure Active Directory.
• Proven experience in hybrid Microsoft environments, integrating cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune.
• Experience with Microsoft Defender technologies.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory, particularly in hybrid environments.
• Experience with Exchange Online and good understanding of Exchange Server / Hybrid Exchange environments.
• Proven involvement in on-premises to Azure and Microsoft 365 migration projects.
• Good understanding of Azure networking, including VNets, subnets, VPN connectivity, DNS and network security concepts.
• Experience with PowerShell and automation.
• Good understanding of identity, access management and security principles within Microsoft environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to independently take ownership of technical implementations and complex customer environments.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with customers and technical teams.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
