Senior Cloud Solutions Technical Lead

This role is responsible for leading the strategic engineering execution and technical alignment of cloud-native solutions. It serves as the critical intersection between domain architecture, engineering roadmaps, and developer workflows, ensuring that high-level architectural visions are translated into actionable requirements and technical plans. The role overlooks the end-to-end lifecycle of cloud systems—designing for scalability and resiliency—while driving operational excellence through the integration of AI-assisted development and Agentic AI to optimize engineering processes.

Responsibilities

• Architectural & Roadmap Integration: Acts as the primary link between domain architecture and engineering execution, translating complex architectural designs into detailed technical roadmaps and prioritized developer tasks.

• Technical Requirements Management: Manages the technical backlog and requirements gathering, balancing business feature delivery with technical debt, infrastructure scalability, and long-term stability.

• Cloud Engineering Leadership: Leads the building of opinionated cloud environments and platforms, ensuring alignment with security strategies and business requirements.

• Process Optimization via AI: Drives the adoption and management of AI-assisted tools and Agentic AI workflows to automate the software development lifecycle, focusing on increasing team velocity and process automation.

• Infrastructure & Automation: Partners with DevOps to develop tooling for microservices deployment, distributed systems monitoring, and fault analysis in an automated, repeatable way.

• Standards & Quality: Builds standards for cloud deployment, executes using Test Driven Development (TDD), and supports continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) patterns.

• Stakeholder Synthesis: Confers with systems engineers and business stakeholders to obtain information on project limitations, performance requirements, and interfaces, ensuring all parties are aligned on technical direction.

• Technical Mentorship: Develops productive internal/external working relationships and provides technical guidance and mentoring to engineering teams to foster high-performance standards.

• Strategic Communication: Delivers best practices, technical presentations, and documentation, adapting complex technical concepts for different levels of business and technical stakeholders.

Education & Experience Recommended
• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 7-10 years of work experience, preferably in distributed & cloud computing, software & cloud design, programming languages, agile development methodologies, or a related field.

Preferred Certifications
• AWS, Microsoft Azure, GCP, CSA certified
