Your mission


Join our Data Platform & Cloud Operations team and help shape the next generation of cloud-native platforms supporting the energy transition. We are looking for a senior hands-on cloud engineer who combines strong technical expertise with a collaborative mindset. In our organization, you will work with high autonomy, direct impact, and close collaboration across teams. You will contribute to modernizing and scaling our AWS-based data platform while helping to drive engineering best practices and operational excellence.

As a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer, you will:

• Design, evolve, and operate scalable, secure, and resilient AWS cloud architectures supporting critical business and data platform workloads.
• Contribute to the modernization of cloud operations through automation, observability, platform engineering, and self-service capabilities.
• Work hands-on with Kubernetes-based platforms and cloud-native application deployments.
• Collaborate closely with architects, DevOps engineers, security specialists, and data platform stakeholders.
• Improve and maintain CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and GitOps practices.
• Help define and promote AWS best practices, security standards, and operational guidelines.
• Ensure platform reliability, availability, monitoring, and disaster recovery readiness.
• Participate in incident management, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement activities.
• Contribute ideas, challenge existing solutions, and actively shape the evolution of the cloud platform.
• Stay up to date with emerging cloud technologies, Kubernetes ecosystems, and modern engineering practices.


Your profile


We are looking for an experienced cloud professional with a strong engineering mindset and a passion for modern cloud platforms, who brings:

• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, or cloud operations.
• Strong expertise with AWS services and cloud architecture best practices.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration platforms.
• Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and automation technologies such as Ansible.
• Experience with CI/CD ecosystems, GitOps workflows, observability platforms, and modern operational practices.
• Solid understanding of cloud security, Zero Trust principles, IAM, networking, and compliance frameworks.
• Experience operating modern data platforms, distributed systems, and mission-critical environments.
• Strong scripting or development skills in Python, Bash, or similar technologies.
• A collaborative mindset, strong communication skills, and the ability to work autonomously.
• Fluency in English; French, German or Luxembourgish is considered an asset.
