About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Infrastructure Project Manager to lead the delivery of large-scale cloud transformation and infrastructure initiatives. This role focuses on planning and executing cloud-first and hybrid infrastructure programs, including migrations from on-premises environments to Microsoft Azure and AWS

The ideal candidate will combine strong project leadership capabilities with deep infrastructure and cloud expertise, working across engineering, security, DevOps, and operations teams to deliver secure, scalable, and compliant solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Lead end-to-end delivery of cloud infrastructure projects including Azure, AWS, hybrid cloud implementations, and migration programs.
• 
  Manage project planning, execution, governance, reporting, timelines, and stakeholder communication.
• 
  Drive large-scale migration initiatives from on-premises environments to cloud platforms while minimizing operational disruption.
• 
  Coordinate delivery across cloud, network, security, DevOps, and operations teams.
• 
  Engage with stakeholders, architects, vendors, and technical teams to define scope and delivery strategies.
• 
  Communicate project progress, risks, dependencies, and impacts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• 
  Ensure solutions align with security, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
• 
  Identify delivery risks and implement mitigation plans.
• 
  Monitor cloud costs, resource allocation, and schedules to ensure efficient execution and business value.
• 
  Support optimization of infrastructure performance and cloud consumption.
• 
  Oversee identity, networking, security, and connectivity requirements across environments.

Requirements

Essential Skills & Experience

• 
  Proven experience delivering cloud infrastructure projects and large-scale cloud migrations
• 
  Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure and/or AWS environments.
• 
  Solid understanding of:
  • 
    Virtualization
  • 
    Networking
  • 
    Storage technologies (SAN & cloud storage)
  • 
    Backup and disaster recovery
  • 
    Identity and Access Management (IAM)
• 
  Experience leading cross-functional teams across cloud, infrastructure, security, DevOps, and operations.
• 
  Hands-on understanding of Azure architecture and services.
• 
  Current Azure certification ( AZ-104, AZ-305, or equivalent).
• 
  Experience delivering projects within highly regulated industries such as financial services or banking.
• 
  Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• 
  Experience using Agile delivery methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban
• 
  Proven ability to manage complex environments and translate strategy into delivery plans.
• 
  Strong risk management capabilities within infrastructure and migration programs.
• 
  Project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent.
