We are looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer to join a highly collaborative product engineering team building scalable, high availability systems with real world impact. This is an opportunity to work in a fast paced environment where engineers are encouraged to take ownership, influence technical direction, and contribute to broader product and business decisions. The team works predominantly onsite to encourage close collaboration, faster decision making, and stronger product development. The technology stack is centred around TypeScript, Node.js, React, and Google Cloud Platform.
Must Haves
6+ years experience building scalable backend systems within cloud first environments
Strong experience with TypeScript and Node.js
Experience designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud infrastructure and services
Strong understanding of scalable system architecture, reliability, and maintainability
Experience working with relational databases
Confident communicator who can take ownership and drive technical discussions
Passion for solving complex engineering problems with pragmatic solutions
Comfortable working onsite 4 days per week within a collaborative engineering culture
Nice to Haves
Experience with Google Cloud Platform
Frontend experience with React
Exposure to Kubernetes and DevOps practices
Experience working with Python or Go
Experience within high availability or cloud native environments
Previous involvement influencing product or technical strategy
