This role is ideal for an experienced cloud engineer who enjoys designing, automating, and optimizing modern cloud-native infrastructure at scale.
You will contribute to the architecture, deployment, and continuous improvement of secure and highly available AWS environments supporting international projects.
The position combines infrastructure engineering, automation, and DevOps best practices to enable efficient software delivery across distributed teams.
You will work closely with engineers, technical leaders, and business stakeholders to build resilient platforms using Infrastructure as Code and Kubernetes technologies.
A key aspect of the role is driving operational excellence through automation, observability, security, and continuous optimization.
You will also mentor fellow engineers while helping shape cloud engineering standards and platform best practices.

Accountabilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and resilient cloud infrastructure on AWS using Infrastructure as Code principles.

  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Jenkins to support reliable software delivery.
  • Monitor infrastructure health and performance using observability platforms, proactively identifying issues and driving continuous improvements.
  • Troubleshoot production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term reliability and security enhancements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to architectural decisions, and mentor engineers while promoting DevOps and cloud engineering best practices.
  • Requirements:

    • Proven experience as a Senior Cloud Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or in a similar infrastructure engineering role.
    • Strong hands-on expertise with Amazon Web Services (AWS), including networking, infrastructure services, and multi-account environments.
    • Advanced experience with Terraform, Terragrunt, and Ansible for Infrastructure as Code and automation.
    • Solid knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and cloud-native application deployment.
    • Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, or similar tools.
    • Familiarity with observability and monitoring solutions such as Grafana, Kibana, Datadog, or AWS CloudWatch.
    • Scripting experience with Bash, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
    • Strong understanding of cloud security, scalability, automation, cost optimization, and production incident management.
    • Experience working in Agile environments with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
    • Fluent English is required for daily collaboration with international teams.
    • Nice to have: consulting experience, platform engineering or SRE knowledge, mentoring experience, and familiarity with globally distributed engineering teams.
    • Benefits:

      • Competitive monthly salary (R$12,500–R$20,000), based on experience and seniority
      • 100% remote work within Brazil
      • 15th-month salary benefit
      • Health insurance covering family members
      • Birthday day off
      • Mobility program for digital nomads
      • Strong work-life balance culture
      • Opportunity to work on international cloud engineering projects
      • Collaborative engineering environment with career growth opportunities
