TITLE: Senior Cloud engineer
LOCATION: Boston, MA

?1)Azure Blueprints Specialist for SE Azure Landing Zone

The Senior Cloud engineer will:

• Participate or even take ownership of the design of some Landing Zone areas collaborating closely with teams in Enterprise IT

• Collaborate with team’s experts to include all dimensions into custom Azure Blueprints for Schneider Electric Landing Zones

• Define the life cycle of Azure Blueprints including versioning strategy

• Structure the Azure Blueprints in a commonly shared referential in Git

• Leverage and enhance central DevOps stack in an inner source model

• Adopt a Test-Driven Development methodology to ensure that future implement will comply with expected requirements

Qualifications/Skills Desired:

• At least 3 years of experience in Cloud engineering

• Be very knowledgeable about Azure Cloud Services with a significant experience

• Expertise in building Azure Blueprints

• Good understanding of Enterprise Services such as Active Directory, connectivity infrastructure such as firewalls, DNS and PKI

• Experience in automation working with Azure Resource Manager and/or Terraform modules and orchestrators such as GitHub Actions/GitLab/Azure DevOps/Jenkins

• Experience with Test Driven Development is a plus

• Agile/SCRUM experience, SAFe is a plus

2)Azure Network Engineer for SE Azure Landing Zone Définition de la prestation

The Azure Network Engineer will:

• Take ownership of the networking design by integrating with the Enterprise IT Hub & Spoke connectivity model

• Be the expert/referent about standard networking key concepts

• Validate design choices by implementing Proof of Concepts on a sandbox environment

• Integrate network-related Schneider Electric cyber security policies into Azure blueprints

• Document every design decision and made it publicly available via documentation as code

• Adopt a Test-Driven Development methodology to ensure that future implement will comply with expected requirements

• Integrate operability aspects such as observability, maintainability and built-in automation

Qualifications/Skills Desired:

• At least 3 years of experience in Enterprise network engineering

• Be an expert about standard networking key concepts

• Be very knowledgeable about Azure Cloud Services with a significant experience

• Recent experience in designing/building a Landing Zone

• Strong expertise in Enterprise Services such as Active Directory, connectivity infrastructure such as firewalls, DNS and PKI

• Experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls is a plus

• Experience with Infoblox DNS is a plus

• Experience with Azure Policy is a plus

• Experience with Azure Blueprints is a plus

• Experience with Test Driven Development is a plus

• Agile/SCRUM experience, SAFe is a plus

3)The engineer expert in Azure Policies will:

• Analyze the 200+ Schneider Electric Cyber Security to extract relevant policies within a Cloud context

• Translate those extracted policies into some sub-sets of Azure Policies

• Interact on a regular basis with Schneider Electric Governance team to get clarity or refine some questionable corporate policies

• Document every design decision and made it publicly available via documentation as code

• Leverage and enhance central DevOps stack in an inner source model

• Work with DevOps engineers to include those Azure Policies into Azure Blueprints

• Create Azure Blueprints to enable Schneider Electric offers on a turnkey scenario in Azure with built-in compliancy

• Adopt a Test-Driven Development methodology to ensure that future implement will comply with expected requirements

At least 3 years of experience in Cloud context

• Be very knowledgeable about Azure Cloud Services with a significant experience

• Experience working with Azure Policies in automation working

• Good understanding of Enterprise Services such as Active Directory, connectivity infrastructure such as firewalls, DNS and PKI

• Experience with Schneider Electric Cyber Security policies
