Associate Senior DevOps Engineer – DevEx - (5–10 years)
About The Role
We are hiring a hands-on DevEx/DevOps engineer to improve developer productivity, platform reliability, and release velocity. You will own and evolve CI/CD, artifact and code management, secure software supply chain practices, and AI-enabled engineering workflows. This role will be key in scaling our engineering foundation across Harness, GitHub SaaS, JFrog SaaS, Sonarqube, Digital.AI and automation frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
Build and optimize end-to-end developer workflows from code commit to production deployment.
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Harness and GitHub SaaS.
Manage artifact lifecycle, repository governance, and binary security using artifact management toolset.
Develop and maintain reusable automation frameworks for infrastructure, testing, release, and operations.
Improve developer experience through self-service tooling, golden paths, templates, and platform documentation.
Implement DevSecOps controls: policy-as-code, secrets management, SBOM, vulnerability scanning, and compliance gates.
Define and track engineering productivity metrics (lead time, deployment frequency, MTTR, change failure rate).
Partner with engineering teams to standardize best practices for branching, release strategy, and environment management.
Enable AI-assisted development and agentic AI workflows for coding, testing, release automation, and incident response.
Experience integrating AI coding assistants into SDLC workflows.
Practical implementation of agentic workflows for tasks such as PR review automation, test generation, runbook execution, and pipeline troubleshooting.
Ability to evaluate AI tooling on security, governance, and ROI.
Familiarity with prompt engineering, retrieval patterns, tool-use orchestration, and human-in-the-loop controls for enterprise environments.
Required Qualifications
5–10 years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, SRE, or Developer Experience roles.
Strong experience with CI/CD systems, preferably Harness, Digital.AI, Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
Strong experience with artifact management and repository platforms, preferably JFrog.
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code and automation scripting (e.g., Terraform, Python, Bash, or similar).
Experience building scalable automation frameworks across build, test, release, and operations.
Solid understanding of cloud-native platforms, containerization, and Kubernetes.
Strong knowledge of software delivery security, dependency management, and compliance automation.
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Comfort with on-call rotations and incident response in a 24x7 production environment.
Experience with monitoring, alerting, and observability tooling.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with internal developer platforms (IDP) and platform engineering models.
Experience in enterprise SaaS governance and multi-team engineering enablement.
Exposure to incident management automation and SRE practices.
Certifications in cloud/DevOps/security tooling are a plus.
