Job Profile Summary:

responsible for providing clinical science insights across key Ideation-to Market processes, from emerging clinical needs, trends and innovations, through co-creation and discovery, clinical research, and proposition road-map. The role works on small to medium-sized projects of moderate complexity under general supervision. The role initiates and supports research programs in collaboration with the Medical Office, external, clinical, academic and other partners. The role works alongside clinical and research partners to collect insights and feedback regarding proposed solutions, assisting in refining prototypes and concepts. The role supports the development of strategic thought leadership materials, such as reports, presentations, and publications, to bolster marketing strategies and advance organizational goals.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with radiologists to conduct clinical application research on MR / AI, participate in the design of scientific research projects, follow-up on progress, contribute to SCI paper writing and promote the output of academic achievements.
  • Develop image analysis software (preferred with Python, Matlab, C++) and realize its value by collaborating with radiologists on making publications with this software.
  • Advise colleagues in the Sales and Marketing department on new clinical and technical developments, offer strong presale support to frontline sales, and deliver presentations at research seminars.
  • Regularly visit Clinical Science sites in China, discuss innovations with medical doctors, resolve experiment-related technical issues and establish strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) in relevant fields.
  • Provide clinical requirements and support to product development, be familiar with products of competitors, assists in writing commercial and technical documents.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

Education: MD degree in radiology, medical physics, bio-engineering, medical imaging, computer science or related field.

Experience:

Minimum 2 years of experience with experience in various medical image processing algorithms in segmentation, registration or pharmacokinetic models; Python, C++.

Preferred Qualifications:

Education: PhD degree in radiology, medical physics, bio-engineering, medical imaging, computer science or related field.

Experience:

  • Preferred with solid experience in various medical image processing algorithms in segmentation, registration or pharmacokinetic models; Python, C++, Matlab experience are highly appreciated.
  • Self-motivated, willingness to take the initiative to identify opportunities for improvement and take actions to improve.
  • Strong academic publication record.
  • Familiar with medical imaging preferred.
  • Good communication skills and presentation skills.
  • Willing to travel frequently.
  • Good writing skills (Chinese and English).
