
The Department of Psychiatry is recruiting for a Senior Clinical Research Associate.
*This position will start out full time at 1.0 FTE, but will be a variable FTE position. 0.1 FTE-1.0 FTE, 4-40-hours per week, as FTE will fluctuate.*
Under the direction of the Principal Investigator, the Senior Clinical Research Associate will work as part of a multi-disciplinary research team to conduct recruitment, compensatory cognitive training, clinical interviewing, and overall support of clinical trials among Veterans.
This role requires experience working with the Veteran population particularly the Portland VA as this person’s primary responsibility will be to screen, enroll, recruit participants, coordinate study visits, and conduct psychodiagnostic and neuropsychological assessments. This role requires independent judgment while working closely with the PI and research team to support project objectives and ensure milestones are being met.
Additional responsibilities include developing standard operating procedures and ensuring project activities are being conducted with fidelity to research protocols, assisting with Institutional Review Board (IRB) and other regulatory compliance correspondence, contributing to data analysis and the preparation of scholarly manuscripts, grant submissions and presentations in collaboration with the PI, and additional tasks as needed to support project goals.
