Reporting To: Head of Clinical Product and Practice
Location: Remote with monthly travel
Job Type: Full Time 37.5 hours a week
Nourish is not simply a technology company; we are a digital partner for the social and health care sector rooted in human connections, with the person being supported at its core. We offer a range of co-produced software solutions tailored to the unique challenges of care, while still being flexible enough to meet the specific needs of each individual service we work with.
We are at an exciting stage of growth. While we are the market leader, we remain ambitious and dedicated to our mission. We continue to revolutionise the sector by investing in our platform and our incredible employees who make this impact possible.
At Nourish, you will contribute to a sophisticated ecosystem that includes:
• Technology that impacts a million people every day: Our core products are used by over 425,000 carers to support 417,000+ individuals
• The Nourish Partnership Programme (NPP): A sector-leading programme that manages strategic integrations with third-party systems to ensure seamless data syncing and interoperability across the care journey.
We look for people who align with the way we work. If you join us, you are joining a culture defined by:
• Making a Difference: We remember who we serve. We are passionate about making a meaningful, positive impact on the lives of carers and those we support
• Agility: We continuously refine and adapt. There is no room for complacency here; we are driven to constantly review and improve our products and processes.
• Collective Effort: We help each other out because we know that when one person wins, we all win. It's "all hands-on deck" - everyone is in it together.
• Every Person Counts: We treat everyone as a very significant part of our community. We welcome people being their true and authentic selves and value the diverse perspectives they bring.
• Openness to Learning: We believe no question is a silly question and all insights are valuable. Mistakes are part of the improvement process; we dust ourselves off and begin again.
The Clinical Product and Practice Team sits at the intersection of care, technology and product development. We work as embedded partners across the product lifecycle, bringing clinical judgement and real-world care experience into the decisions that shape Nourish products — from the problems we choose to solve and the way we design them, through to build, assurance, release and continuous improvement.
The Senior Clinical Product Manager is an opportunity to take a leading role in how this capability evolves. You will not simply advise on whether a product is clinically appropriate; you will work alongside Product, Design and Engineering to help determine what we build and how we solve complex care problems digitally.
You will also help shape the future operating model of the team, working closely with the Head of Clinical Product and Practice to develop how our clinical product capability evolves. As Nourish continues to grow, we want to move away from clinical specialists spending significant time on manual content creation and towards a more scalable model where tooling, workflow capability and reusable product patterns allow our clinicians to focus more of their time on high-value product collaboration and specialist judgement. You will have meaningful autonomy in helping turn that ambition into practice, while working collaboratively with the Head of Clinical Product and Practice on the wider direction and priorities for the team.
With line management responsibility for a Workflow Developer, you will have both the mandate and practical capability to help make that change happen. This is a role for someone who wants to remain clinically grounded while building a career in product and helping shape how clinical expertise influences technology at scale.
• Lead the development of a more scalable operating model for clinical and practice product delivery, identifying opportunities to implement appropriate tooling, reusable components, templates, standards and processes.
• Line manage and provide direction to a small team, setting priorities, supporting development and ensuring their work contributes to the wider goal of scaling the Clinical Product and Practice Team's capability and impact.
• Act as a senior clinical product partner across complex product areas, working with Product, Design and Engineering from discovery through to delivery, assurance and continuous improvement.
• Bring specialist clinical and practice expertise into product decision-making, particularly across areas such as mental health, learning disability, restrictive practice, behaviour support, safeguarding, medication or pharmaceuticals.
• Contribute to clinical safety and governance activity, including hazard identification, clinical risk assessment and ensuring appropriate safety considerations are built into product development.
• Support Product Consultancy and internal enablement, helping customer-facing and product teams understand new capabilities, clinical context and how Nourish products can be used effectively in practice.
• Provide clinical product expertise in customer-facing activity where required, including customer meetings, product demonstrations, webinars, workshops and other strategic engagements.
• Mentor and support colleagues within the Clinical Product and Practice Team, helping build capability, consistency and confidence across the function.
• Build strong relationships across Product, Engineering, Design, Customer, Commercial and Implementation teams, acting as a trusted senior clinical product partner.
• Clinical expertise: A registered or professionally recognised clinical or medicines professional, ideally with experience in mental health, learning disability, pharmacy or medicines management, and a strong understanding of how care is delivered in practice.
• Product experience: Meaningful experience working within digital product development, with the ability to combine clinical expertise with product thinking across discovery, design and delivery.
• Health and care understanding: Strong understanding of UK health and/or social care, including the realities of frontline delivery, professional practice and the regulatory environment.
• Strategic problem solving: Comfortable working with ambiguity and complex problems, identifying the underlying need and balancing clinical, user, technical and commercial considerations.
• Scaling and improvement: Able to identify opportunities to improve how a team operates and turn specialist expertise into more repeatable, efficient and scalable ways of working.
• Leadership: Experience leading people and/or complex work, setting priorities, providing direction and developing others.
• Communication and influence: Able to communicate complex information clearly, build credibility across disciplines and influence colleagues and senior stakeholders.
• Mindset: Pragmatic, curious and collaborative, with the confidence to challenge constructively and the flexibility to operate in a fast-moving product environment.
• Experience working in health tech, social care technology or another digitally enabled health or care environment.
• Experience with digital care records, medication systems, incident management, care planning, AI-enabled health and care products or similar clinical workflows.
• Knowledge or experience of clinical safety management for health IT, including DCB0129 and/or DCB0160; Clinical Safety Officer experience or qualification would be advantageous but is not required.
• Experience developing frameworks, standards, tooling or operating models that have helped specialist teams work more effectively at scale.
• Experience: [e.g., commercial experience / Track record of sales results].
• Technical/Functional Alignment: [e.g., Experience with Ruby on Rails, PHP (Symfony), or LMS administration].
• Sector Interest: A genuine interest in the UK social care sector and how technology can improve interoperability.
• Mindset: A pragmatic, collaborative, and warm approach to problem-solving.
• Annual Leave: 25 days basic + Public Holidays + an extra day for your Birthday.
• Service-Related Leave: 1 extra day for each completed year of service (up to 5 additional days).
• Health & Wellbeing: Private Medical Insurance (including a personal health fund), Health & Wellbeing platform with 24/7 GP access, and an Employee Assistance Programme (EAP).
• Family & Security: Enhanced Maternity Leave, Group Life Assurance, and Pension Contribution.
• Growth & Connection: Regular career reviews, Referral Bonus schemes, and social events throughout the year.
