A Key Position in a Growing Payroll & HR Services Team

On behalf of CSC Denmark, Basico is looking for an experienced Senior Client Payroll Specialist to join a growing and specialized Payroll & HR Services team.

You will take responsibility for a diverse portfolio of approximately 30 clients, working with complex payroll setups across industries. In this role, you will act as a senior specialist and key point of contact, ensuring high quality, compliance, and strong client relationships.

Your Responsibilities

You will manage end-to-end payroll processes while playing a central role in both operations and client delivery.

Your tasks include:

• End-to-end payroll administration for a portfolio of clients

• Processing and quality assurance of payroll data

• Handling payslips and supporting salary payments

• Reconciliations and reporting

• Ensuring compliance with deadlines and legal requirements

• Acting as a key contact and advisor to clients on payroll matters

• Supporting HR-related areas such as pensions, sick leave, and reimbursements

• Taking an active role in mentoring and supporting junior colleagues

• Identifying and driving improvements in processes, systems, and workflows

• Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders across functions

Your Profile

You are an experienced payroll professional who thrives in a role combining operational responsibility, client interaction, and specialist expertise.

You work in a structured and detail-oriented way, take ownership, and build strong relationships through professional communication and collaboration.

We imagine that you:

• Have a relevant educational background within finance, HR, administration, or similar

• Have +5 years of experience with multi-client payroll, ideally from outsourcing or consulting

• Have strong knowledge of Danish payroll and labour market regulations

• Are comfortable advising clients and explaining payroll structures

• Have an interest in systems, processes, and optimization

• Understand how payroll interacts with HR, finance, and compliance processes

• Fluent in oral and written Danish and English

It is an advantage if you have experience with international clients, Epos, and strong Excel skills.
