Acts as chief designer of desktop operating/management systems and application delivery, including application and desktop virtualization. Designs Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta's network operating systems to ensure a consistent standard of business practices and delivery of services.

Experience

  • 3 years of experience in software systems, specifically Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager
  • 3 years of experience in computer delivery services, including operating systems, applications, and patch management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)
  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)
  • Epic Client Systems Administrator (ECSA)
  • Experience configuring solutions in support of M365 initiatives
  • Experience with thin client device management
  • Advanced knowledge of infrastructure technologies such as Network, Database, Server, Storage etc.
  • Experience in developing and supporting VDI frameworks Experience with Electronic Medical Records, specifically Epic

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or its equivalent in work experience, plus seven years of experience in Technology is preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Expert knowledge in Microsoft MECM (SCCM), Intune, M365, as well as Microsoft operating systems
  • Experience with other MDM/MAM solutions, such as Workspace One and JAMF would be highly desirable
  • Working knowledge with AD/ Azure AD and core networking fundamentals
  • Strong PowerShell scripting experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills that can work closely with both technical and management teams across the organization
  • Foundational IT Infrastructure knowledge
  • Operating Systems (Win10, macOS, iOS, Android)
  • PXE boot and WOL technologies and “Hands Free” device management
  • Technology advancement mindset specifically around BYOD strategies
  • Familiar with monitoring tools that provide user benchmarks and baseline helping drive optimization opportunities
  • Act as a thought leader on Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) industry trends on emerging cloud enabled system management capabilities for potential use at Children's
  • Multi-tasks and prioritizes according to business priorities and production availability requirements

Job Responsibilities

  • Support platform software upgrades, workstation patching/compliance, and application delivery.
  • Support the organization's Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) strategy.
  • Engineer solutions for modern management of endpoints and applications.
  • Develop tactics and operational plans in alignment with strategic objectives for assigned technologies and projects.
  • Develop automation within the unified endpoint management platform to increase efficiencies and decrease delivery time.
  • Responsible for all aspects of release and change management for applicable platforms.
  • Provide technical guidance to project teams ensuring that new initiatives that have endpoint dependencies or configuration management needs are appropriately enabled.
  • Builds, leverages, and maintains effective partnerships across technical and business community including.
  • Business partners, IT Security, IT Infrastructure, and compliance teams to ensure the solution meets all policy and regulatory requirements.
