Job Description

As a Senior Client Director in Microsoft Advertising, you will enable Microsoft to serve our most valued Enterprise & Strategic Advertisers by applying obsession with what clients care about and need, ensuring our Microsoft Advertising story is valued and understood, and building and maintaining solid and long term trusted-advisor relationships.

You will drive revenue and client satisfaction across Microsoft Advertising performance solutions by building trusted relationships with C-level executives and business and technical decision-makers. You will create and execute long-range account plans that connect client priorities to measurable business outcomes, using growth motions that scale across stakeholders, regions, and segments where applicable. Your success is measured by specific success indicators focused on driving adoption, emphasizing customer experience and optimizing opportunities. This opportunity will allow you to execute with excellence to drive client success and business as well as drive both revenue and customer satisfaction across MSA’s performance solutions.

Starting January 26, 2026, Microsoft AI (MAI) employees who live within a 50- mile commute of a designated Microsoft office in the U.S. or 25-mile commute of a non-U.S., country-specific location are expected to work from the office at least four days per week. This expectation is subject to local law and may vary by jurisdiction.



Responsibilities

  • You will develop, lead and execute MSA France sales strategy & priorities to enable your advertisers’ growth while partnering with internal partner teams, including Client Solutions Manager and specialist teams, to develop and execute MSA account plans, leveraging winning sales strategies replicated across clients and client types. Purposefully positions outcomes within the context of the advertisers digital marketing journey from current to future state.
  • You will design and lead multiyear account and portfolio growth strategies, proactively mobilising internal partners to remove blockers and maintaining a solid business rhythm across the account v-team. You will translate client business drivers, seasonality, and market context into investment strategies, joint business plans, and durable expansion opportunities across Search, Audience, CTV, Gaming, and other Microsoft solutions.
  • You will act as a trusted advisor to senior marketing and digital leaders by turning platform capabilities, data, and insight into clear business value.
  • You will influence strategic customer decisions, challenge legacy approaches, and position Microsoft Advertising within a broader One Microsoft growth story spanning Cloud, Data, AI, Commerce, and Measurement.
  • You will lead outcome-led AI and intelligent marketing conversations, helping clients move from experimentation to scaled adoption. You will embed AI into planning, activation, optimisation, and measurement; use AI-driven insights to influence budget allocation and long-term strategy; and orchestrate cross-functional teams to deliver cohesive customer outcomes.
  • You will create revenue expansion mechanisms such as playbooks, investment theses, growth levers, and operating cadences that deliver durable, multi-year impact. You will articulate the causal link between your actions and customer growth, ensuring success can persist across years and ownership changes.
  • You will strengthen Microsoft Advertising's market presence by contributing thought leadership in executive forums, industry conversations, and customer roundtables, while bringing external insight back into Microsoft to shape strategy and execution.
  • You will operate as a force multiplier by coaching peers & partners, leading deals & negotiations, leading and reviewing account plans, and sharing templates and playbooks that improve outcomes across teams, always maintaining a positive , collaborative and learning atmosphere.
  • You will lead the update of pipeline reviewing of top opportunities, identifying roadblocks, and ensures the right resources are engaged to overcome client objections.
  • You will execute sales per expectations against pipeline, new client, and opportunity management goals per the MSA Solution Selling process for new deals, driving for advertisers’ verifiable outcomes at each stage.



Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, or related field AND experience in sales, advertising, or marketing with a focus on online media, or digital advertising
    • OR Master's Degree in Business Administration in Sales, Marketing, or related field AND experience in sales, advertising, or marketing with a focus on online media, or digital advertising
    • OR experience in sales, advertising, or marketing with a focus on online media, or digital advertising
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Experience in online media, digital advertising, or Search Engine Marketing Sales and Service experience.
  • Fully bilingual in English and French


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, or related field AND experience in sales, advertising, or marketing with a focus on online media, or digital advertising
    • OR Master's Degree in Business Administration in Sales, Marketing, or related field AND experience in sales, advertising, or marketing with a focus on online media, or digital advertising
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Experience making recommendations to senior- level executives.
