The Boeing Company is looking for a highly motivated cybersecurity professional to join our Enterprise Classified Security Operations Support Group as a Senior Classified Cybersecurity Solutions Architect to design and implement secure, scalable, and innovative cybersecurity architectures within classified environments. The Senior Classified Cybersecurity Solutions Architect will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing the implementation of secure cybersecurity solutions tailored to classified environments. This role requires deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and the ability to work with classified information and systems to protect national security assets.
Position Responsibilities:
Design and architect end-to-end cybersecurity solutions for classified systems and networks
Develop security architectures that comply with government and defense standards, policies, and regulations
Collaborate with engineering, operations, and security teams to ensure solutions are effectively integrated and operationalized
Evaluate emerging cybersecurity technologies and recommend their adoption to enhance classified system security
Provide technical leadership and guidance on cybersecurity best practices, risk mitigation, and threat modeling
Support the development of security requirements, system design documentation, and architecture diagrams
Participate in security assessments, audits, and vulnerability analyses to validate solution effectiveness
Develop executive-level reporting materials, including KPI/KRI metrics
Understand operational requirements within a security-focused organization with the ability to ensure solutions are aligned to mission, policy and execution needs
Work closely with government agencies and stakeholders to align solutions with mission objectives
Maintain strict adherence to classified information handling and security protocols
Mentor and train team members on cybersecurity architecture principles and classified environment requirements
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Successfully completed Tier 5 Investigation (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) by the federal government within the last 5 years, or requires candidate to have been enrolled in a Continuous Vetting program within the last 5 years
Currently hold IAM Level 3 DoD 8140.01 (previously 8570.01) compliant certification (i.e. CAP, GSLC, Security+ CE, CISSP, CASP, CISM, GSLC)
10+ years of experience with cybersecurity frameworks and standards? (Some Examples..NIST, DoD RMF, DISA STIGs, NISPOM, ICDs, JSIG)
Experience working with a technical team
Experience influencing and building strong relationships with stakeholders and senior leaders across functions and/or programs
Experience working in a fast-paced, mission critical environment
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
10+ years of experience utilizing security relevant tools, systems, and applications in support of Risk Management Framework (RMF) to include: NESSUS, ACAS, DISA STIGs, SCAP, Audit Reduction, and HBSS
Experience designing secure network, cloud, and system architectures in classified settings
Experience with security threat modeling tools and processes
Experience with cryptography and other security protocols
Experience with project management in a leadership capacity
Experience developing and managing strong relationships with partners (internal & external) and government customers and representatives
Experience working with government agencies in a compliance capacity
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
