As a Senior Civil/Structural Field Engineer, you will serve as the on‑site technical authority supporting civil, structural, and architectural activities for projects at our Saint John refinery. Your goal will be to oversee construction execution, resolve field‑level engineering issues, and ensure all work aligns with design intent, safety standards, and engineering work orders. Your success will be demonstrated through your ability to drive efficient project delivery, maintain strong coordination with contractors and field teams, and uphold the highest standards of quality and compliance throughout construction.

Your Responsibilities:
Create/review work orders for design specifications, material requirements, and project data throughout the project lifecycle to ensure quality and compliance
Provide technical input for project planning and scheduling, identifying risks that may impact budget or timelines
Address and close Requests for Information (RFIs) and Field Change Notices (FCNs) in a timely manner
Collaborate with Engineering Services and contractors to resolve or mitigate design and constructability issues
Participate in daily meetings with the Project Execution Group to stay informed on construction progress
Prepare or update excavation permits for additional work as required
Coordinate quality control activities with third‑party engineering teams
Ensure construction activities are executed safely and meet required quality standards
Reconcile punch‑list items with field coordinators and contractors at project closeout
Verify completion and appropriate review of civil and structural work
Support turnaround and maintenance engineering teams with civil/structural issues
Perform CSA-related Engineering Services activities, including Material Take‑Offs, Engineering Work Orders, and drawing reviews
Your Skills:

Your Experience:
B.Sc. in Civil Engineering
P.Eng. or immediate eligible for P.Eng. status in NB
Preferably 15+ years of Civil/Structural Experience in Heavy Industrial Sector
