Job Duties

• Review tender documents, specifications, drawings, and BOQs thoroughly.
• Prepare RFIs (Requests for Information) and ensure timely follow-up and responses from clients.
• Coordinate with the design team to obtain required design outputs, BOQs, and layouts through meetings and emails.
• Verify BOQs received from the design team for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with project specifications.
• Define required RFQs and following up with the procurement team to ensure timely issuance and receipt.
• Evaluate received quotations and prepare comprehensive cost comparisons.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates using CANDY software.
• Prepare detailed indirect cost breakdowns to support pricing strategies and cost assessments.
• Prepare the bid financial submission in coordination with relevant departments.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and propose value engineering options.
• Conduct tender review meetings and highlight key issues, risks, and clarifications.
• Maintain an updated database of prices, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Assist technical team in Technical Submission where required.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 7-10 years of experience with Substations Projects.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Proven experience in market knowledge, subcontractors, and materials prices.
• Knowledge in CCS Candy software.
• Proficiency in quantity take-off software.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Effective Communication skills and report-writing abilities.
• Critical thinking and attention to details.

• High attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
